Is the open unit a lot cooler on the outside? I have some concern over where I want my flute to be installed on the outside of my house, where someone potentially could reach out and touch it (I know, they shouldn’t. But a concern nevertheless).

Hello great video. I have kingspan insulated roof and twin wall pipe The pipe was made in Spain cant remember the name but is was not the cheap stuff. Should i cut the insulation back a bit from the flue? Thank You Marc

Good video, i would lie to shop around for the stove and the correct approved parts preferred by the installer's, been given quotes for a simple small stove that exceeds 4, 000. may as well pay for the gas and electric bill. Do you do anything on the recommendation of stone hearths.

Thank you! I have a twin wall system coming (HETAS approved) they state distance to combustibles 50mm.. how hot should I expect the outer layer to be? I am passing it through a combustible floor with a ventilated firestop system.. just trying to assess if I should keep it further than 50mm…
