1 - freedom of speech (press, religion, assembly, and petition)
2 - right to bear arms
3 - quartering troops is not necessary
4 - no unreasonable search or seizure
5 - don’t incriminate yourself (I plead the fifth!)
6 - speedy trial
7 - trial by jury
8 - no excessive bail, no cruel punishment
9 - any rights not listed in the constitution are still there
10 - any power that doesn’t go to federal goes to the states and people
11 - can’t sue states
12 - president and Vice President are on separate ballots
13 - abolish slavery
14 - everyone has equal protection under law
15 - African Americans have the right to vote
16 - congress can collect income tax
17 - people vote directly for senators
18 - no drinking (prohibition)
19 - women can vote
20 - presidents term starts on January 20
21 - 18th amendment repealed
22 - president can serve up to 2 terms
23 - Washington DC has 3 electoral college votes
24 - people can’t be denied if they can’t pay the poll tax
25 - duties of the president are passed down in case of illness
26 - 18 is the legal voting age
27 - increases and decreases of Congress pay

7th - right to trial by jury
9th- if it’s not stated in the constitution, ppl can push for it to be an equal right
10th - reserved rights
11th - states can’t be reserved in federal court (immunity to the states)
12th - electoral college
13th - no slavery or involuntary servitude
14th - equal protection
15th - blacks can vote
16th - income tax law
22nd - presidential 2 year terms. max ten years
23rd - voting rights in DC
25 - if president can do his job vice president steps in
27th - Congressianal salaries
