I had the Bible forced down my throat throughout my entire childhood, especially the gospels. In adulthood I began studying the scriptures thoroughly, thus drawing my own conclusions. It led to where I am now. Atheist and at peace. No fear of death or eternal punishment. I remember the day of acceptance and realization that I had been duped. What a freeing of the mind! I live my life with joy and curiosity because this is the only one I get. I intend to experience it to the fullest and be the best human being I can be.
