Playing along side them I could tell it was a Romance language form the grammar but I wasn’t expecting the bastard Romance language

I remember hearing Sebastian Stan speak it and it sounded like Slavik Portuguese. Same here

I got it! It helps that I had a Romanian coworker and I heard her talking on the phone to her parents. At first I thought Italian or Portuguese, but when I heard "da" as yes, I knew.

As french I had guessed Romanian because I had learnt it was a Latin language (as french Italian) and I recognised some words and as it is close to Russia there is also Russian vocabulary . Proud of myself😂

Since i know how nordic and slavic countries sounds like. And this one is no where near them haha, even though i never heard how romanian people talk nor their language.

Definitely Eastern European. I thought it was Polish
