It's scary that most of psychologists are women because the vast majority of women are simply not logical.

1. The "hierarchy" is not determined by sex. It's determined by competence. A meritocracy. It just happens that more men are at the top because we are stronger, more competitive (testosterone and the need to move up the pecking order in order to mate and procreate), and more logical. There is more of us at the bottom as well.

2. "Traditional" and "1950s" has nothing to do with it per se. That sort of suggests people want to go backwards or people are outdated. It's about biology and survival of species. We need to procreate for survival of species. Women want hypergamy. Men actually want hypergamy too so the mother of their kids doesn't leave and take the kids. That's why "traditional" gender roles are still the best option (not simply because "they are traditional").
