My Grandpa used to give out full sized candy bars. His reason? They lived on a mountain, so the kids had to walk all the way up a steep driveway AND a steep set of stairs to even get the candy. He said they worked hard for it, lol.

Honestly 99.9% of homes I went to as a trick or treater said to take two pieces…to stop us from going hog wild/save some for everyone else😂

I remember we went to an almond moms house for trick or treating and she gave us a protein bar and a paper guide on how to be thin as children despite none of us being overweight.

On my street some were handing out apples, and the children were actually happy to get one from time to time. Next year I will be handing out juice packs since so many children were thirsty by the time they reached our house.

The calorie counter would have gotten away with a serving size had she just said the limit she gives out is 2. Like no explanation, stand firm and say she only gives out 2. There are multiple reasons for only being able to give out a small amount, including not being able to afford too much or wanting to have enough for everyone.

my mum always gave out water bottles, along with some chips, the water bottles were a blessing because everyone was walking in town for at least a few hours and noone remembered water bottles. people at school were telling me to thank my mum for them lol

When I used to trick or treat, I would love getting those little raisin boxes.
The older ladies in my neighboorhood would always hand them out and be like "You dont have to be nice if you dont like them."
They were too sweet. I guess other kids werent as much of fans as I was.

We have classic little gummybear packages and also clementines that we paint like pumpkins! Lots of kids love the clementines! 😊
