Does this actually happen when a magnet breaks?

the most mass obtains the "N" polarity? i dunno. i have seen it happen with smaller rare earth magnets but never paid any attention.
Thanks for sharing, and bending my mind

This is the same effect that occurs when we split a magnetic field. We create similar poles on the split, which invert and recouple, with a square of force, so watch your fingers!
This is how Tesla induced electricity with his split wave circuit.

Magnets have 4 sets of poles not one (Walter Russell), perhaps it broke off at a place that caused it to restructure the rest.

How do we know what the polarity is, if there is one internally, when the magnet is whole? Perhaps the polarity isn't created until the separation occurs? Very interesting though. Thanks for sharing.

Did the fracture occur when the two magnets collided? and if so did the fragment stay in place whilst the two magnets were stuck together?

My Ken Wheeler can suggest what happened to it ?? You should send him the video

Why not test the two different pieces with more magnets to find out which one shifted polarity and also compare it with the original "non broken" piece? my guess is that it has to do with mass...

Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 so it ends up at the ‘north’?

Is there metal surrounding the magnet?
