The irony is that the lady he shot was doing less that the reporter who turned up to his home. If he was to be consistent he would have shot the reporter.

Did anyone else notice he threatened a second bystander while standing on the PUBLIC sidewalk, which is public property. The guy needs prison time.

Was this security guard imported straight from the westbank wall or something? Guy legit thought people outside the gate where hostile.

security guard needs to be locked up and never be allowed near a weapon again. Maybe the new guards know how to behave when dealing with the public.

This guard wasn't living with fear, he's living with the want to hurt others for no reason. He wants to kill just to kill. He basically admits it in the video - especially by following his fleeing victim.

He'll be on a plane to Tell Aviv before any trial starts.

For those who want an update, apparently, Mr. Grunfield (the shooter) wasn't charged by the police but he is actively being sued by Mr(s). Perez. It's been in and out of court and based on what I've seen so far he's losing due to his malicious neglect discharge and open threats. What bewilders me, is that the court openly acknowledges that he:

1.) Neoglaintly discharged his weapon at the plaintiff without proper justification
2.) Fired a warning shot at the ground that subsequently ricocheted in the direction of Mrs. Perez and patrons at a local restaurant
3.) Made threats of "I will kill you" after already discharging his weapon and showing intent to cause bodily harm.

I don't know how this man is allowed to train other security guards, or more importantly, why he is allowed to have a gun. He's a problem waiting for a place to happen and the next incident is going to result in him, or someone else getting killed.

I've been in Security Management for 14 years. Speaking from experience it is never a good idea to allow someone who receives minimal training to carry or have access to a firearm. If clients need armed security what they actually need are armed police officers. The main duties of a security officer should always be to observe and report. I love the Second Amendment, however too many people are not mentally capable to carry the responsibility of owning or operating one.

No bail, he is a flight risk to El Salvador or Israel.

Any reputable security agent will of course be familiar with the Zelayagrunfeld method, wich includes use of ill-fitting body armor, fidgety hand movements and a paranoid disregard of actual threat assessments. Go Class of 2016!!!

This guy looks like when you create a character on the sims.

Los Angeles prosecutors Wednesday declined to file criminal charges against a security guard who shot and wounded a YouTube personality during a bizarre clash outside a synagogue last month, an announcement that came just hours after the woman filed a civil lawsuit against the guard and his employer

Security guard needs to be stripped of all licenses, if this was the mental state of police department and security guards everyone would be dead! He needs to be behind bars for a minimum of 2 years for threatening with a deadly weapon and discharging and hitting another non violent person in a non deadly situation.

The shot was probably a negligent discharge but he shouldn’t have been brandishing the gun in the first place. Plus, following her onto the street later on and threatening to kill her is nuts. He should have had a 100k bond
