In anatomy u hv described brainstem into medial and lateral structures, that z cool but in clinical part u hv ventral and dorsal classification that's creating some difficulty in correlating with anatomy,

He is wrong with Benedikt's syndrome. It doesn't involve the corticospinal tracts to cause contralateral hemiplegia. Instead involves spinal lemnisci and trigeminal lemnisci- causing contralateral loss of pain and temperature sensation in the body and face respectively, medial lemniscus- causing contralateral loss of tactile, vibration and joint sensation.

Corticospinal tracts are only involved in Weber's syndrome causing contralateral hemiplegia.
