Something regarding witnesses doesn't make sense to me here, which is this. In a trial, a lawyer will never call a witness unless he knows exactly what the witness is going to say, never. In an investigation hearing, yes, but in a trial, no, never. And wasn't the examination of witnesses supposed to have been done already by the House? You had your witnesses, lots of them, and concluded that you had a solid, compelling case for impeachment. And now you want more witnesses and documents without even knowing the outcome?
How can Schumer claim to know what goes against the "will of the people"? Has there been a vote on it? I cannot believe how someone can be so arrogant, to even go so far as to assert that the Chief Justice has allowed the Senate to run a fraudulent trial. Chuck, Schumer, you have lost. Get over it.
