WWDC 2020: Reaction As A Software Developer

My impressions on Apple's WWDC 2020 conference, Apple Silicon, App Clips, iOS 14, WatchOS 7, macOS Big Sur and the walled garden.

As a Software Developer who has owned a handful of both Apple and non-Apple devices, I wanted to give my opinion on everything announced at Apple’s WWDC 2020 event. Apple announced some nice updates, as well as some not that interesting ones and at the end of the day, time and the consumers (and developers) will tell what will be useful or not. Apple has always been a company which brought revolutionary new ideas to the tech world (of course always at a premium price), but has seemed to fall behind its competitors in the last few years. Will this WWDC be Apple’s redemption?…No, but it’s still worth a watch ;)

Great insights!
10:14 Totally agree with the points - Apple has already said (and emphasized) that they are bringing a lot more convenience (ie. value) to their laptops because of this switch to in-house CPUs so it would be really unlikely that we see a drop in their prices :(
I don't care that I'll be able to run iOS apps on my next macbook, I just want to spend less on their products haha

in an earlier video you said that you recently switched to a mac. Can you make a video where you compare it to your previous windows/linux machine?

Amazing video Andreas!
"Reminders to reply" are currently being offered by Google on GMail. I do not see why they would not put it also on the Apple OSes... Also many features (mentions, replies) are part of WhatsApp (both available on apple and android)
Request: Can you make a video about the security of Apple Keychain, Chrome Password Manager, Android Password Manager or in general Password Manager software? How easy/hard is it for people to steal your passwords in Password Managers? Shall we just keep all passwords written on paper instead?
