As its a new month, its time to look back at some of the best moments I filmed in September during Touristenfahrten (Public driving) on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. It was a very busy month, with some of the best weather we have had all year, this meant a lot of action on the track, including a lot of fails, some very near misses and dangerous moments on track. A Neighbour build over Years a Youngtimer an Opel Ascona B. He tuned the Motor ( 6 Zylinder instead of 4 > 280 HP ) the Transmission ( from the usual 4 up to 5 Gears ) The chassis, The body, , the paintwork, Breaks, Wheels, the Seats almost It takes not only a lot of Times but also a lot of And then he makes a Fatal He drove to the "Green Hell"
and as usual with Murphy's Law everything went wrong, because after two or three laps he got bolder and lost control of his "baby" and ran straight into the guard rails, suffering severe whiplash and breaking BOTH wrists and forearms, he was unable to work for months and, to top it off, he forgot to ask his insurance company whether the car was also insured for the Nürnburgring. Of course it was NOT, he had not only spent several years of work and a lot of money on the guardrails, but he was also allowed to pay for the guardrails to be replaced, the recovery of his vehicle and parking fees for his "baby" because he was initially unable to bring it home. So he decides to sell it because it was too expensive now for him to repair it.

And the moral of the story: Even if you think you are Lewis Hamilton or Michael Schumacher, you should find out beforehand whether your insurance will cover a possible accident and, above all, only drive as fast as you can control your car.

Naturally the guy with the slowest, shittiest, loudest Civic is the one to nearly commit suicide by getting out of his car and lay under it at a top 5 overshoot corner. I was ready to see my first death on this channel there.

hate people that get out and look at their cars. its unsafe and youre on a track, pull off at the nearest exit road. dont check in the middle of a track where other cars could come and hit you
