When a conducting wire \( X Y \) is moved towards the right, a current flows in the anti-clockwise direction. Direction of magnetic field at point \( O \) is
(1) Parallel to motion of wire
(2) Along \( X Y \)
(3) Perpendicular outside the paper
(4) Perpendicular inside the paper

Here current is flowing from X to Y so X is high potential and Y is low potential for this to happen satisfying cross product between V abd B Magnetic field should be perpendicularly outside the plane of paper.
