Brexit party leader hit out at the BBC on the Andrew Marr show, saying the broadcaster is in 'denial' about the state of British politics and that he had never taken part in 'a more ridiculous interview'. During the heated exchange, Farage tried to justify his decision to shift from praising Norway-type deals before the EU referendum to advocating a no-deal departure, saying this was needed because Theresa May had botched the process.

I’m surprised they left the comments section open 😂

When the mainstream are reduced to having to trawl back through comments from years and years ago, that’s when you know that’s all they have left. We’ve won.

Nigel Farage has just done his own "Panadrama" without Tommy. It just gets better and better. The BBC kills itself. Hurry up and get it over.

Andrew Marr is not the interviewer I thought. This was just an excercise in trying to undermine Nigel Farage

Not a fan of Farage but he's right here. Disgraceful line of questioning that achieves NOTHING

Keep on digging that hole deeper and deeper, BBC and guardian

I’m no fan of Nigel Farage but he has a point. Rather than engaging with him on the topic of the European Union they try to attack him personally. I voted to remain however if we have another referendum I’ll vote to leave.

Some "journalist" and "news interviewers" are only interested in the "gotcha" moment. Its because they only are interested in ratings and that they look "inciteful". That attitude doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help the person being interviewed nor the people watching the interview. It only helps (they think) the interviewer.

Calling a halt to being treated like that is totally in line whether its Nigel Farage or Ben Shapiro or anyone else.

This is so hilarious. The interviewer isn't even acting as if he's being lambasted.

Andrew... do you still think it is ok to grope a colleague? If you live in the past Mr. Marr.

More people will vote for Farage in the up and coming elections. Cheers BBC

I don't think the Guardian or the BBC realise character assassination and strawman narratives do not constitute journalism.

This was shameful from Andrew Marr - and he bloody well knew it. Respect for him has just plummeted.

Spot on Nigel, the tired old BBC attempt at a hit job falls at the first hurdle.
