Coach BV is a winner because he had less time to recruit for OU and yet they are in the top 10. He got Kobie McKinzie to flip back to OU. Credit to him, Joe Jon Finley, DeMarco Murray, Cale Gundy, Bill Bedenbaugh, Jeff Lebby and Coach Stoops for putting in the work. They went and checked on committed players after Lincoln "Muleshoe" Riley left. We were able to get more commitments because of them. We got Nick Evers and Jaden Gibson because of it.

Lincoln "Muleshoe" Riley on the other hand is a loser. Instead of going out and recruiting, he does media stuff. He tried to flip Jake Taylor from OU and Jake said no and he signed with OU today. LR thought that all of OU's recruits would follow him to USC and they didn't. Yes we lost Dindy and Raleek Brown but we made up for it with Evers and Gibson. He's only moved up a few spots today. There have been decommits from USC. Karma got him good and I hope it continues to get him.

A recruit's ranking means nothing if they have the right or wrong coach. A great example is look at Sam Bradford. He was a 3 star QB and he won the Heisman Trophy and was a number one overall draft pick. Trent Williams was also a 3 star recruit and look at what he's accomplished in the NFL. Baker Mayfield was also a 3 star QB and he walked onto two schools and ended up winning the Heisman Trophy and became the number one overall draft pick. All 3 of them had great coaches.

WTF? In the middle of their OU "analysis", they changed the subject and blathered on about overall rankings. What a big ball of fluff this is.

Cfb is so much better when every region of the country has a great program or two & not just the southeastern part of the country.

How can a team not be a win if they move up the ranking?

Good grief that was the most boring, non-committal segment I've ever witnessed. Gonna file this channel away in the "Do not waste your time" category. I fell asleep before you even got to my school, OU, and then you spent a grand total of 15 seconds talking about them after they had the best day of any of the schools you talked about.

All the schools mentioned here never got out of top 10-15 historically. How is LSU being 20 something a win???

I know you could blame the coaching change, but I get s kick out of the fact Florida's class is far far behind every SEC East school outside of Vanderbilt of course. Georgia is exactly as they were the last 4 years. Carolina has a top 25 class. But the most amazing thing is Mizzou, Tennessee and Kentucky are just outside of the top ten. The last rankings I saw had them listed in a row with Mizzou at 11, Kentucky at 12 and Tennessee at 13. That is pretty amazing. I know the SEC always cleans up well as a conference, but those last 3 I mentioned really surprised me, especially Mizzou. And I figured Kentucky, being successful and on the rise would have a class ranked around 25 or so because while they've done well they're still a hoops school. But wow, Mark Stoops can apparently recruit at a high level and doesn't depend solely on development.
And then there's Florida. Even with a coaching change you're still supposed to be able to put together a class better than Kentucky, Mizzou, Carolina and Tennessee!

So that's why Riley went to USC, so people would make excuses for him when he faceplants. Like when he misjudged what several of his former assistants would do when he tried to leave them with no option but to follow him. When Roy Manning messes up royally by recruiting for two schools at once, nice start geniuses. When he assumed everyone that committed to OU really just wanted to be around him. Plan your coup better next time, guy. You don't have OU compliance around to keep you honest anymore, so check yourself.

I'm not against USC and all that big money getting Lincoln Riley after all money does talk I'm just wondering if it's going to be the USC Sooners or the Oklahoma Trojans the guts of their football team came straight from Norman Oklahoma you could have been more upfront and forthcoming about it Lincoln lost some respect for you the way you snuck out

This is pathetic. LSU A "winner" by both after getting the worst class in a while, USC now up but still in the 80s and behind Toledo and they're slobbering all over them. Neither can acknowledge the one that actually delivered a top ten class after the prior coach left and caused the class to drop to almost 30th.
