Why rising bank shares may be good and bad news for investors

Good news about COVID 19 vaccines has boosted banking shares recently. However, as Tim points out in his latest video, this could be a mixed blessing for savers and investors.

An interesting video - I do suppose you are referring to UK banks (HSBC, Barclays, etc). I disagree on a rise in their shares, for these reasons: there won't be an interest rate increase for next 5 years & a ton of loans and mortgages delinquencies will occur once these mortgage holiday is over. Also, these banks have struggled well before the pandemic - check a 10 year chart.
