LOG CABIN Build - S2E5: Log Walls and First Floor Joists

Hello Guys!

Here we are with fifth episode of our cabin build!
In this episode we continued with building the log walls and we also installed the joists for the first floor!

Things got a little bit harder because the cabin is getting higher and higher, so we needed to do some kind of scaffolding to reach the top logs.

On the inside of the cabin we wanted the joists to look a little bit vintage, so we did the edges the old way by using log peeler. We also want to keep the natural colour and patterns of the spruce wood!

The only thing I would do. is adding 4 or 5 those half lap joints to have that little's room short wall properly attached to the main one. It's only screwed to it at the moment, is it?
