I'm in love with my CPX500. I bought it almost a year ago, and it's still beautiful (even though it has some dings here and there). Yamaha is my prefrence over ANY other brand. Even Martin or Gibson.

The description is about the CPX and in the video it is an APX.

Different body size. The CPX is a medium jumbo and gives a fuller bottom end. The APX is definitely smaller, more comparable to a thinline concert size, so the bottom isn't so "jumbo". That said, I have an APX700II and for a smaller body guitar, it has a pretty big sound. Both lines are great, so it just depends on your playing and comfort style.

Back in 2000 - I bought a Yamaha Compass CPX7 - and i've had constant buzzing from the on board electronics. ( Like a bad earth noise) Yamaha / Kemble were no help - only offering to sell me a new pickup system. it's been to 3 luthiers and still isn't free from "buzzing"

@silveradofilms They're amazing guitars. I'm thinkin about getting the CPX series 12-string because my Alvarez 12-string is starting to sound like garbage lol Even when you put new strings on it, it goes dull immediatly.

im so confused to set my cpX 500, because always buzz at 5 string fret 3, i already set trusrod but still buzz, any advice for this ...
