A line of RVs sat parked along Southeast 67th Avenue outside of two vacant homes late Thursday morning. Neighbors say the area has become a magnet for members of Portland's houseless community taking advantage of the unoccupied properties.

Bridget Miller says she’s “not a bad person” but she was caught plugging her A/C into the vacant house… Do the math Bridget 🤔

If you want rapid response by the leaders you elected, encourage your homeless neighbors to set up camp in Kate Brown, Ted Wheeler, and Jo Ann Hardesty's neighborhoods.

She says she is not a bad person, but yet she hooked up to electrity that some one had to pay for, so she thinks stealing is just ok

NEVER, EVER go on record saying what you have in place for safety! Also, NEVER go outside if you hear knocking or your outside water being turned on because that's something people do to get you outside!

Anyone who breaks into a home to get power for their RV. That's trespassing. When someone does that my creditably of them goes down hill. She would have done it again too.

If you’re homeless set up camp on the sidewalk in front of Ted Wheeler’s apartment building

The term "houselessness" is ridiculous and unnecessary virtue signaling.

Go park a zombie RV by one of Ted Wheeler's 4 homes. It will be gone within 24hrs.
BTW, Mr. Obvious says "The city is waging war against certain neighborhoods."

We feel bad for your circumstances but there's nothing we can do. Owners should demand their property taxes be lowered immediately because resale value is dropping daily as long as it continues.

The city is responsible for this mess.

The solution ! City of Portland should buy 100acres of land around Portland and let homeless people stay there. Until that happens the homeless will be in front of your home.

You elected the people who allowed this because you wanted to “feel good” about yourselves…and never once considered the realities of your choices.

No one “deserves” to be homeless, or hungry…yet the very concept of personal accountability has INTENTIONALLY been eradicated all for the sake of “feeling good” and not wanting to “offend.”

Socialism has not, will not and flat out won’t EVER WORK! It doesn’t matter how much you try and “pretty” it up throwing the word “Democratic” in front of it.

Stop being just angry and do something about it people. Your “elected representatives” don’t care 🤷‍♂️ for one simple reason - YOU DON’T HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!
