This is a bit old animatic but I wanted to share it and hope you like it.

and this aniamatic doesn't have a deep meaning, I just wanted to make an animatic for Confrontation and I thought the song fit the Alastor

I really love this idea that Al actually has good side in deeper and regreting about life decisions. But he can't escape from himself. His evil and serial killer side which is craves for power and good person who is regretting of killing a lot people and being bastard.

This is just perfect. We can assume Alastor started his career as a serial killer at a fairly young age, maybe into his 20s, though I like to think, this confrontation, is the last shred of good and humanity Alastor has, internally fighting and losing, against his inner demon. Only to die, then end up in Hell, where there’s no good in him left, only the Radio Demon. Unlike Dr Jekyll, he had no one he loved, or that truly loved him, to pull him back from the brink of madness and evil.

I like how on the cover the twigs in living human Alastor’s hair emulate the deer antlers of his demon self.

This fits perfectly with my fanfic idea that Alastor made a deal with a demon when he was younger which causes their souls to share the same body and slowly become one soul and that the demon was the one killing the people, not Alastor.

Imagine what Alastor must’ve been thinking when he first wound up in Hell. Man died and woke up with antlers, claws, deer ears, hooves and daggers for teeth. It would be quite a shock, to say the least. No idea how _Sir Pentious_ dealt with his complete transformation. Sinner’s thoughts as they first see their Hell forms is something I think of often.

Ahh, this takes me back. Back to the 2019-2020 days of the fandom when artists (especially animators) had this habit of portraying human!Alastor and demon!Alastor together as though they were separate entities in a deal-with-the-devil kind of way. Creepy, gruesome, and, in its own way, fun. I love the show as it is now, but I also really love the gory creativity the pilot brought out in so many people.

Sometimes I wish we could go back to that. But hey, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy what we have now, including people realizing how evil Alastor actually is. It’s bringing out its own kind of creativity and I love it.

This works with the original story! Jekyll and Hide were the same man, the potion simply changed Dr Jekyll’s appearance, all the bad things he did were all still Jekyll, but the face was Hide’s. And eventually he had to use the potion to be himself, Hide had become his true face

This could be alastor looking at his past self telling him that what you are, and what you become is inevitable and just overall would be incredible to see alastor accepting who he truly is and saying goodbye to the past

I keep coming back to this video, I personally adore this song and everything behind it (especially this part). I love the orchestra perfectly conveying the tone and Anthony Warlow's voice and how he plays the two parts, and the meaning is something personal to me. This combined with the skill in creating emotion and motive behind their faces and body positions is incredible. You don't have to know what Hazbin Hotel is to appreciate this masterpiece. I do not have the words to describe how in love I am with this piece of art! I've watched it more times than I can count over a week or two as I keep coming back to watch it.
