Like Band-Maid, Trident celebrated their 10th anniversary last year. In their early days the two bands shared the bill quite often on the club circuit. I remember seeing one show which also had Soramimi, Nemophila Tamu's old band, on the bill. Before the famed Junna, Trident had another drummer very briefly; Nagisa followed Junna. They also had a 2nd guitarist until early 2016. FYI, or maybe not, band founders Asaka and Serina have blood type A; however replacement drummer Nagisa has blood type B.

My No.2 Japanese female band..second only to BAND-MAID...Infact I found TRiDENT.. before I found BAND-MAID..back when they were "Girls Rock Band Kakumei"..Early albums not easy to get hands on..but I have all under the TRiDENT name....They have a sound which is unmistakably theirs...And like BAND-MAID it was the drummer that got my attention to want to hear them...Back then is was JUNNA....now Nagisa.. a worthy replacement.

Another band for you.. From Italy this time.. Called black Mamba, check out their cover of Highway star.. The Bass player goes to town with an incredible solo.. Think you will like it.. it's the best cover of the song I've seen and/or heard..

Trident were founded in 2016, as ガールズロックバンド革命 (Girls Rock Band Kakumei, or “Girls Rock Band Revolution”). Their lineup under the original name consisted of:

Asaka - Vocals & Guitar
Serina- Bass & Chorus
Junna- Drums (Original Member, left in 2020)

After Junna left, Nagisa replaced her at drums, and they changed their name to Trident. They have collectively released two albums, two mini albums and several singles. Their style is fast, hard and heavy but melodic, with a dense sound for a three-piece band.
