I got bitten by a Brown Recluse at work. Had a wicked necrosis happening and earned a $2300 medical bill for treatment. Last year, I got bitten by a Black Widow on my trash bin. No medical attention, but I threw my guts up the first night, and felt pretty sick for a few days.

I am allergic to bees especially, I have an EpiPen, just in case. I am also allergic to spiders and other insects, but I have always had such a love for spiders. I’ve kept tarantulas and definitely would never handle them due to my allergies. I am in a terrible situation right now where one of my doors has fallen open in my condo. I was in my kitchen tonight and a spider descended from the ceiling down onto my faucet. That’s when I realized there was a stink bug on it. At that point I was cheering him on, hoping he would capture it, but he got spooked and went back into his web that I didn’t know was there before. Stink bugs are my least favorite insects followed by cockroaches. I never take down a spiderweb in my home. They do mine their business and eat the pests. They are tied with cats as my favorite living things on the planet. I do not understand why people are so afraid of them. Meanwhile, wasps or things like them are literally out to kill me.

That was unhelpful. I am trying to find out WHO I'm dealing with so maybe I can convince her that my doorframe is NOT a good place for her home. FOUR YEARS she and I have been going through this! She sets up camp, I move her. Next day she is back! My home is not humid, not dark, less she is watching TV with me, I don't know what it is about that door frame she likes so much. Yes she is a she as she has made egg sacks. She is a little bit bigger than a quarter. She looks like a tiny brown, black gray tarantula, quit pretty. If she was the size of a dog I would want to boop the snoot. I've tried making her a nice home out on my patio where there are MANY water bugs at night. NOPE! She's not having that. I'm NOT going to kill her! Figure if I can find out WHO she is I can convince her to make her home somewhere more appropriate for both of us.

Well, as an American I think I should be insulted that he didn’t force me to become terrified of another thing that I have little control over. He didn’t purposely leave me in such a state of insane fear, over NC spider info., that I need an ar15 now. Ya know?

Tho… He conveniently forgot to mention the Yellow sac spider! Dun, dun, dun… Those cute little bastards are all over the place in Greensboro NC - and I do believe they’re dangerous - especially because they seem cute!
