You can also use a layer cake to cut it into 5" squares, which would equal exactly 4 charm packs, For this pattern, you'd only use half a layer cake, and could make 2 of these quilts :) I rarely buy charm packs unless they're on sale. Cutting layer cakes into charm packs is alot less expensive than buying 4 charm packs. When I like a fabric collection, I always buy the layer cake. It's the same exact amount of fabric, but is much more versatile.
* Thank you for another excellent tutorial. I like the last quilt layout the best. I think I'd finish it off with a black binding that had a rainbow flange. It would be a touch of color without detracting from the pattern.

I really liked that scrappy one! Of course, the solids are beautiful also, but don't dismiss the scrappy. It looks very different from the solids but still so pretty!
