I like the "Apple Conveyor " metaphor for an Observable better! Apples are dropped on the conveyor by the farmer, women pick out the bad apples, and at the end of the conveyor the apples are dropping in a basket - filled baskets are loaded on a track and brought to the Apple store! ( I would call the Observable: "FromFarmerToStore")
