Past Simple vs Past Perfect
1. PAST SIMPLE
The separate actions with sequence, but without connecting
2. PAST PERFECT
At least two actions that related to each other with general sequence.

*_Before_* [ _subject + Past Simple_ ], [ _subject + Past Perfect_ ] .
