Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has paid tribute to Diego Maradona saying the former Argentina star was an idol of his growing up.

Maradona died at the age of 60 on Wednesday.

"It's obviously a very sad day for everyone involved in football," said Rodgers.

Leicester face Braga in the Europa League on Thursday having won all three group games so far.
