A lot has changed and been updated since my last flight simulation cockpit overview. In this video, I’ll go through all the recent upgrades and some of the mistakes I’ve made along the way. As well as some tips for building your own at the end of the video.

If you have any questions about my DCS or Microsoft Flight Simulator setup, leave it in the comments section. Also, if you have any recommendations for upgrades or are looking at it think this is just wrong. Call me out! I’m all ears and I love learning and improving.

Looks epic! You could mount some air tubes with twist nozzles above for room cooling. Maybe add a call button light for beverage service on those 4+ hour flights! I use the VKB T-Rudder MKIV pedals and love them. All steel construction so they're super robust and don't slide around. They're the best piece of hardware in my rig. Half the price of the TPR pedals, only downside is you can't do toe braking.

very nice
miicrosoft fs 2000 pro on windows 96 was the last sim i used.
current approach plates, vectors, atf channels all worked.
could fly gps, vector in greater LA, and catch the ils and land in LA from nm...all in auto pilot

You're right about keeping cables short and uncoiled! When you coil a wire it changes the impedance (or resistance) of the wire and degrades it's performance.

Great set up, bro. I’m trying to get my flight simulator like that.

Really nice setup! Thanks for the build tips; I will be using your ideas in my build.

Get the ThrustMaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals- best and most realistic I've tried (I'm a IRL pilot)...Also if you want to smooth out your stick, get the Virpil VPC WarBRD base. It was a huge upgrade for me!!!

Awesome setup! I've started saving up to clone your setup ;-) Wondering if you could tell us, or do a video and show us how the screens are mounted?

Nice setup 👍I don't see the "too far" part though (and I'm not even waving from below - yet). I mean most of the hardware is pretty standard, just the nice box with the huge displays sets it apart. The rabbit hole of simulated cockpits goes deeper though. Anyway, lots of fun in your pit, have a good one 🛫

Real pilot here. 100% get the Thrustmaster TPR pedals. They are heavy, premium feeling, and perfectly mimic the way real rudder pedals feel.

What u prefer for GA - yoke or stick? Unfortunately all hotas system on market mainly trust for left hand, stick for right hand, but in this case u can not use mouse for control some elements in cockpit.

Hey m8 as for sticks all you need is the VPforce RHINO (a 9Nm force feed back base that can use basically any grip with adapters for Winwing & VKB) for centre mount & the Winwing MFSSB for side stick, these two plus the appropriate grips will have you covered for basically every aircraft out there!

Have you thought of using those immersive eye goggles to make your vision even more realistic?

Are you sure the Hisense A7s are 120Hz? I can only find 60Hz versions.

Can you talk about the software side of this? I'm a bit overwhelmed / disappointed that there's so much 3rd party stuff needed for configuring controls, assigning buttons, using maps / nav, different options etc.
