i love how at 2:23 the citroen is struggling at max rpm (probably around 6000) while the audi is just casually keeping the pace and reving around 3000 :D

I love the subtle detail they used the Mercedes W116 6.9 - that model in particular had the same hydropneumatic suspension as a Citroën - that means it would provide a great platform to shoot rocket grenades on a twisty road.

The XM was a truly fantastic limousine I'v had two and they were the greatest cars I've ever owned.

The Citroen XM switches between series 1 and series 2, Even we have moment where we see the front, it's a series 1 and next second we see the rear, it's a series 2 !
1:28 front of series 1, 1:33 rear of series 2. Looking at it closely at 1:46, it looks to me as if it has series 1 grill and a series 2 name plate in the
The XM that spins out at 1:43 is not the same car we see at 1:57, plus had a quick wash out in the course of these 14 seconds!
Check the XM at 2:15, it's left front and rear doors are in much better shape than at 1:47, also wheels cleaner.
Then at 2:45, we switch back to a series 2 XM, at the very least one with a series 2 grille with the chevrons in the middle.
At 2:52, that's a rear of series1 XM with " CITROEN XM" label on the left. They may very well have had a car with a sr1 grill and sr2 back rear.
At 3:19, that's rear of a series 2 where "CITROEN" label is on the left and "XM" label is on the right.
At 3:23, we may observe that the Audi had left headlamps repaired during the chase, were in much worse shape a minute ago.
Again, the left headlamp of the Audi were fixed between 4:09 and 4:20

That S8 still looks sexy to this day. And extra points for it being a manual, a transmission the US never got for the S8.

Here's some mistakes I can't help but point out thanks to my OCD.
0:41 camera shadow on the passenger front tire of the Mercedes.
0:57 camera used to get the shot at 0:55 is seen underneath the guardrail.
1:20 Audi S8 turns into the Peugeot chase car that he rammed off the road before.
3:03 camera on a tripod used to get the shot at 2:50 is visible on the right-hand side.
4:02 Audi S8 is on their tail despite just being separated. Also, studio lights are reflecting on the man's sunglasses.
4:10 glimpse of the skidplate is visible while mid-air.
