The problem is people equate good singing only to power and projectivity, they forget that tone plays a great deal and Britney has a beautiful tone to her voice

Queen of angelic voices since sometimes a lot of people try to make sounds like that in softer songs

You can hear a huge difference in her chest voice and falsetto:
0:20 chest
0:33 falsetto

Her chest voice is very powerful and she can belt, but the people in control of her career either wouldn't let her sing naturally or manipulated her into believing her real voice was too 'deep and manly' for the image they wanted her to portray. She's not a soprano, so she clearly doesn't have as much pitch control when going into the higher notes in falsetto rather than chest voice. It's really f:(ked up what the music industry, sadly even her own parents, did to her.

I’ve always wondered why she slayed the vocals on SNL and not so good during her Onyx world tour and it has to be because she had already been dancing for 1 hour and 10 minutes before singing Everytime on tour, that’s all I can come up with cos her vocals are PERFECT here.
