Weird that they labeled her Silver Spoons appearance from 1987 as 1990. By 1990 she was enough of a major pop star that a small guest appearance would have been below her paygrade.

I forgot about that attempt at a comedback in the late 90's/early 2000s' with that album "The Journey", one of like three albums that never really surfaced! LOL that is one of my favorite things about Tika, she claims she's this deep spiritual artist, but then when she FINALLY officially came back with a single, "Flow With the Go, " it was terrible low budget generic dance pop about having sex and being horny. Like literally, the lyrics were like, "Look at my thong" and "You're gonna wanna ride" and "I'm rooty tooty fresh and fruity with an apple bottom booty."

Bless her heart, I freaking LOVE HER SO MUCH, but she is the hottest mess in the WORLD.

Thank you for uploading this. I know my comments probably seem negative to people who only want to heap praise on the artists they love, but I can appreciate Martika for her many facets - brilliant vocalist and singer, charming entertainer and total post-fame hot mess. :D

I saw this years ago when it first aired when I was in College. I'm glad Martika did what made her happy but I will never get that"Art Is More Important Than Succes"way of thinking. She should be like Madonna right now. A Kajillionaire whose albums are always guaranteed to go Diamond at the least.

I'll always love Tika but in recent years she has become such a hot mess. That "Vida Edit" phase with her 'husband' was disastrous, as was that horrible "show" "J8ded". "Flow With the Go" was an embarrassing song and video, and then all the just ongoing promises she kept making of albums, tours, singles, etc... etc... that went absolutely nowhere. We stan a legend but I wish she hadn't come back only to go out with a whimper the way she did.
