The merit list for State and management quota seats in government and self-financing medical and dental colleges will be released on July 2, the Directorate Of Medical Education has announced. Counselling will tentatively be held from July 5 to 12 for government quota seats and for NRI and minority seats on July 15.

The first phase of counselling for management quota seats will be held on from July 16 to 18.

The Directorate of Medical Education has released the prospectus for admission to State quota seats in government and self-financing medical and dental colleges on its websites.

The DME has created a separate registration process for government quota seats and for NRI/Management quota seats.

The DME began issuing online applications from 10 a.m. on Friday. The last date for online submission of applications is 5 p.m. on June 20 and the last date for receipt of filled-in downloaded online applications is 5 p.m. on June 21.

For special category and wards of I.R.T. employees, counselling will be held on July 4. The first phase of counselling for government quota seats will begin on July 5 and the second phase of counselling will depend on the schedule of All India Quota counselling.

Courses will commence on August 1. The admission process will close on Aug. 18.

Apart from the 24 government-run medical colleges, including the newly commissioned Karur Medical College, the ESIC medical college in Coimbatore and Chennai and the governmental dental college in the city, the TNEA facilitation centres for engineering admission in Tiruvarur, Krishnagiri, Namakkal, the Nilgiris, Erode, Tiruppur, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Ariyalur, Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Virudhunagar and Cuddalore can be approached for assistance on registration and online applications Tamil Nadu MBBS Admission 2019

Tamil Nadu MBBS Admission 2019 - The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu is the counselling authority for Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 admission. The authority has released the Tamil Nadu MBBS application form 2019 on June 7. The link to register for Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 admission is available on this page. Along with the registration process, the authority has also released the Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS prospectus for government as well as private colleges, which can be downloaded from the official website. The last date to fill the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 is June 20, while the due date to submission of receipt is June 21, 2019. Only candidates who will fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the state will be allowed for admission to 3,947 MBBS and 985 BDS seats offered by government and private colleges of Tamil Nadu. For admission to MBBS Tamil Nadu 2019 under 85% state quota seats, it is mandatory for aspirants to appear and qualify in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET UG ) exam. While the remaining 15% seats from all government medical colleges will be reserved for aspirants selected under All India Quota seats. The counselling of these seats will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of marks obtained in NEET 2019.

How to Fill Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 Application Form.

Based on the NEET details filled in the application form, the authority will release the Tamil Nadu MBBS merit list 2019 containing the names of eligible aspirants, state merit rank, roll number, category and NEET marks scored. Candidates included in the state merit list will be called for Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 counselling conducted in offline mode by DME, Tamil Nadu. During the seat allotment process, students have to provide their choices of colleges and courses/specialities. According to these preferences, state merit rank and availability of seats, the admission to Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 will be granted.
