Bucs assistant general manager Mike Greenberg is Jason Licht's right-hand man and has been instrumental in the team's success for well over a decade. Could he leave Tampa Bay for a G.M. job after the 2024 season? Which team could that be? Scott Reynolds discusses this topic in a NEW Pewter Pulse video.

Jet nation will love him with open arms much needed. Home town guy his dream job is probably to be the GM of his favorite team growing up!!

I saw an interview with Licht somewhere not long ago that he has a contingency plan in place in case Greenberg or Spytek ever left. SR, you need to get your pewter people the inside scoop on that

Let’s keep Coen, Bowles and hire Saleh as DC

This guy is a beast. We’ve been lucky to have him this long.

They need to lockdown the entire front office. Sure they’ve missed on a few but for the most part they seem to have a Cristal ball.

Baker Mayfield, who would have thought…

Off Topic: People keep asking why Sean Tucker isn’t getting more playing time . Is s actually very simple. He doesn’t catch the ball naturally like other 2 RB’s ! With starting receivers out the Bucs are using the short pass game more than ever ! Tucker is a solid backup.

Greenberg is a smart guy and can see that the Jets are a dumpster fire! The ownership is terrible and he would not want too e his family just to move them again in a couple of years. Great video! Thanks for sharing! Go BUCS!!

I agree with you 💯as much of a fan of the Jets he was he’s a Buccaneer now and forever. The best plan would exactly what you recommended that way we don’t lose any one in the front office

Here’s my simple solution: double his salary. He’s worth every penny, and there’s no salary cap for staff.

After being here so long, if the Bucs front office haven’t picked up anything via osmosis I don’t know what else to say. Sounds like Greenberg is already gone.

BUCS have to pony up the Cash to keep Greenberg and Spytek. He's been masterful on our salary cap situation, especially during our Tom Brady years. Pay these 2 Men!!

Being a new Buc's fan I really like your channel. Baker and this team are really fun. Greetings from Daytona

Probably the only thing keeping Greenberg away from the Jets is the owner. If he can get independence and make the decisions then yes, I can see this happening. But if Woody Johnson wants to keep hands on operations and decision overriding his new GM, then I don't see Greenberg taking this job. GMs in the past have had this problem and if he cannot escape it, why would he take that job? I don't see it. I see Scott Reynolds says the exact same thing I wrote at the end of this video. That is the one saving grace of the Jets opportunity - can you deal with Woody Johnson?

I'm surprised we've kept both of them for as long as we have. One or both getting poached is a matter of when, not if

Our cap hasn't necessarily been the best in the last couple of years

If Greenberg heads up to NY for an interview I hope the temperature up there drops down to -20. Maybe that will discourage him. ;)

I hope nobody poaches Greenberg, Spyek, and Coen from the Buccaneers. Hopefully Greenberg realizes the Jets organization is a mess with terrible ownership and just isn't worth it.

LOL Greenberg may have the choice between the Jets and the Giants the way things are going. Both franchises sound like they will need to be gutted and rebuilt. And unlike Tampa Bay sports market, which is easy to please and we are more forgiving, by just winning. New York seems to Ride their teams hard, even if they are winning. NYC needs to have, or demand style points to go along with winning, or losing ;) lol But You can't fault a guy for wanting to fix and build the team he rooted for as a kid. This guy (and the Licht team...) deserves a promotion and I wish him success, wherever he decides to be. He has earned it 100%

Makes sense. Kinda suprising he hasn’t left already tbh

Why would he want anything to do with that Aaron Rodgers and his contract. That alone is enough to cause anyone to get fired. That would be like taking on the Saints cap mess.
