Super detailed! Though it should be worth noting that the XMP file metadata isn't really much use outside of some Adobe products. If your plan is to add metadata in this way and pass it on to a colourist in Resolve, then don't waste your/your clients time, as Resolve doesn't support XMP data and these fields will appear blank to them. Neither does Avid's Media Composer at that.

Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator and of course PPro will read the additional file metadata, but even then Adobe's own After Effects doesn't support it.

Hey - great video! So I have a specific situation where I'm working with hockey game melts that have a plethora of action in them - what I want to do is go through and metadata these melts so that let's say at 1:00 there was a goal by a certain player and 1:37 has a good ISO of another player. What's the best way to mark the action and metadata it? Also, is this data searchable in finder windows - OR - in the media browser in Premiere?
