Apologies for asking this question here, but I couldn’t see a different forum to ask this question.

I wonder could you clarify the legal issues around the insulate Britain protestors - specifically with a view to their detaining motorists against their will. Could a civil case be presented against them for this or is there no legal precedent for this?

A question for your next live Q&A. I heard recently of someone who's domestic partner conned them out of significant money and forged documents to their property etc. The Police said it was a civil matter. Can you explain please how this type of thing could not be a criminal matter?
