#5 Had a video editing error. I accidentally deleted what I did to fix my feet before I uploaded it! I used KT Tape to put on the sore hotspots on my feet. Totally stopped the blisters from forming. Leuko Tape works great as well.

@3:30, Dispersed camping is allowed in all National *forests*. But National parks require camping at designated sites.

Nice tips! Just to add a little bit on tip #2 make sure it's a bpa-free water bottle don't want the sun heating up the plastic and putting all those chemicals in your water while sitting in your car. Thanks for sharing 👍

For lower elevation backpacking adventures, check out the Olympic range in Washington State. The tallest mountain is under 8, 000', but because of the amount of snow/rain we get in this area, our mountains have incredible snowpacks and alpine wonderlands.
You'll get amazing elevation gain (enough to make you regret ever stepping foot on the trail, trust me), but stay under the elevation-sickness zone. And, it's absolutely beautiful. I'm very grateful to live at the base of these mountains that keep me active during the year with multi-day trips.

Something I keep in mind now too, is that load bearing straps "should" be at a 45 Degree angle too. This also will show you if you have the right fitting pack or not. I've had a couple of packs I was trying to dial in, before I realized the design and fit (for me) was not right because there was no way for the load bearing straps to be at the right angle and I was actually bending the frame, trying to get the straps tightened.

Just bought my airline tickets for my trip coming up to Yellowstone. 7 days at Heart Lake, good tip for your feet. Always good videos, thank you.

Thanks for the little trip home. I am living here in SC, and always wanting to go back home to Utah. These views and experiences are the most surreal moments I have ever had in the back country. I would love to see you do the Narrows at Zion at some point

I love your reaction to your views. They were the same as my dad and mine when we did the East Rim trail and the Wildcats Canyon Trail out in Zion a few years back. So much nicer than the tourist choked front country trails.

GREAT video as always... Now I hear you mentioning BLISTERS, and as I'm not a YpuTuber I can't make a video of this but... let me tell you I've been working as a dog walker for the last 8 years, walking 4 hours a day (15 km.) So tha solution with that it's using 2 pairs of socks one in touch whith the skin (those regular cotton or wool short socks) and over them a though, polyester, tall football socks... it provides SO MANY benefits for the walking and the hike that it would be to long to explain.... BUT : if you want to I can tell... Cheers... Martin from Argentina by the way

In South Arizona a grandma chewed me out for not having water and she gave me some. It was the best water ever. So I always carry 2 gallons in the trunk.
