HOW TO INSTALL SUBWAY TILE BACKSPLASH | UNDER $300 KITCHEN MAKEOVER

Hey everyone!

This video is here to help you if you are thinking about installing backsplash yourself. We chose to go with Subway tile, it seems the easiest to do since this was our first time doing this.

I share some tips I learned and all the materials you will need to complete this project

I’ve done a few tile projects- kitchen backsplash-portable small hearth for cute little electric fireplace- this weekend a backsplash for laundry room sink/washer/dryer under new cabinets. I’ve also used my wetsaw for making a couple kickass fireplaces with ledge stone. If you get into it more I suggest getting your own little wet saw like I have. Tilesaw with blade $20 bucks Craigslist (blades are not cheap) works great quiet motor, water tray. Use safety glasses. The blade is only about 5 inch diameter and the top cutting plate is about 14 inches -square body with motor under about 5 inches high so takes little space.

In my new kitchen I don't have any backsplash so this is very helpful to me. Looks like a lot of fun doing something on your own in your house. I usually hire someone but why not to try on my own

Are you in the US? I can't imagine Lowes or Home Depot would cut tiles for you for a quarter each
