This deserves so many more views but I guess it's because a lot of people don't know the song. Not only are Mel's vocals off the charts, the musicianship is just so authentic. There's parody and then there's homage, and this is definitely homage to a great 80s track and one of the best female vocalists from that era. There's no accounting for taste or views, but as far as SingitLive is concerned, this is right up there in my top ten. That mix, those instruments - keys, bass, drums - absolutely bang on the money!

Absolutely fucking dynamite. That's some tune to take on. Perfect from vocal to rhythm section and all in between. Chord arrangement at the end was class. Vocal harmonies were perfect. Bassists run in the outro was lovely. wonderful musicianship and special shout out to your vocalist who took on an Alison Moyet song and did an excellent job... Bravo to all

Great complete performance IMO guys - Melissa is a very true singer in both pitch and intention, she's ali class and the harmonies were sensational.
The rhythm section was beautifully restrained and the familial link nailed the percussion. Also love that Ibanez bass Damien (sits really well between a Musician and Fender sound) with super playing.
A really classy mix Darren ; perhaps Melissa could have had a light, tone/volume massage when she first comes in - it's a. little buried for mine but overall a big open sound which transcends the actual room size and that's not easy to do.
