A perfect dribble is simply playing the ball forward and passing the defender by playing towards the goal as fast as a rocket. If you see a defender, you have to accelerate. You can only pass it at full speed. If you slow down and you start doing difficult skills with 'show', then you are more likely to lose the ball. Dribbling is more than just 'show'. Nowadays dribbling is rather a way to run past players, keep the ball and then score that one magical goal. Yet it is also a risk. A great responsibility rests on the shoulders of that one player. The choice is up to the player to make the right decision. You have to make choices about whether it is best to dribble, "pass" or just go for the shot at that moment. Especially when the game is really closed and there is little movement in it, you can try the dribble. The rule is and remains: don't go dribbling when the ball is on your half of the field.

I watch this before every match, just to get a reminder and some inspiration.
My biggest improvement? It was actually to start playing with the ball alone without looking at it most of the time, sometimes even blind-folded.
After a while, being able to observe opponents, especially their legs, instead of over-concerning about where the ball is at all times, became second nature.
When I see two knees pointed in the same direction I instantly begin a move in a sensibly opposite direction, and it rarely fails. It's so effective it's almost ridiculous.

All these physical traits, speed, agility, acceleration, etc.. are useless if he does not have the ball control that he has. There are many players faster than Messi but his ball control is the difference.

This video is a great example of what Messi does and why I think he is the GOAT. Ppl just don't understand football and how it's played at the highest level. They look at cr7 flashy goals and skills but if you break it down Messi has a bigger impact on the game. I've noticed there is way more Ronaldo fans on TikTok and online in general but when we look at great players from around the world when you go outside and actually join a league instead of looking at TikTok Ronaldo skills you finally open your dam eyes
