Made this exactly as directed, except I did not have pimento peppers. I added in some fresh ground chili paste (Sambal Oelek). I boiled it down the second time, to a thick rich gravy. Oh my goodness, it was amazing. Thank you!

Uncle Chris, I just made your whole jerk chicken for my bishop and his family and they absolutely loved it. Their 3 year old called the chicken “ice cream”. The wife sent me a video of their son cleaning the meat of the bone. It’s so cute!!Thank you for sharing your talent to with the world so we can also bless other. (I’m mad because I forgot to take a picture and send it to you).

I love this video too. I’ll make for the missionaries when they come for dinner.

Made a big pot of this tonight... Uncle Chris, this is FIRE! I'm adding it to my repertoire, it's so good, and I'm really glad I grew the scotch bonnets and seasoning peppers last Summer!

Chris I'm so looking forward to visit my born island so that I can eat all the red meats and the other white meats. Haven't had all those in decades. Jerk chicken is what I miss most. Oh boy! Your food always look so good and flavored

This looks AMAZING. I am missing some of the ingredients, but a quick trip to the store will fix that...

It’s so crazy you posted this, lol!!! I woke up this morning and said I was going to make chicken stew. Same thing but with chicken. I tried something new (to me at least) last time I made it and smoked the meat before adding it in. Wow it was a wonderful addition. Not doing it each time because I love my traditional island flavors but once in a while that smoked flavor element is good.

Love watching your videos and doing the recipes on your site.
What pepper would you recommend if you cannot get hold of Pimento peppers?
Are your books not shipping to other parts of the world yet?

Morning Uncle Chris. This dish looks soooo good. I’m wondering if I can transfer this dish to my instant pot at the point where you add the water to save some time. Thought ???

Hi Chris, this looks brilliant and I'd love to make it, but I can't have sugar. Could you recommend a substitute for the brown sugar without altering the result too much? Love your vids. Big up from Amsterdam!
