"Well, I've looked, and Hootie And The Blowfish aren't in your ears. I believe you're hearing them in your mind, and your heart."
"Oh. Dude. Bro."

Those of you younger than 30. If you were to travel back in time to the summer of 1995, you’d be hearing this song on the radio over and over and over again. Constantly.

I’m 61 and come back to this one at various times.

The world is a really messed up place.

People forget how HUGE this album was. I mean, insanely huge. It sold 16 million copies in its first year. That just doesn't happen anymore.

There are certain 90’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.

My dad loved this song.  Bear in mind he grew up in the 70's; so, it was a shock when he told me that this was his favorite band. My dad passed away on December 16, 2014.... I am listening to this for him.  I love you

My oldest son was born in 94 and I used to rock him and sing this song to him. I was so in love with him and it was the perfect song to put to words how I felt inside about being his dad.

I am here because of his new collab with Scotty McCreery. Bottle Rockets is such a good song and it brings me back to this amazing song.

Is anybody else hearing Hootie & the Blowfish?

The psychedelic South Park daydreaming scene with the first 35 seconds of this song really captures what it's like to fall in love.

I love this song that hit #1. A black man from South Carolina who had a band composed of all white blonde haired members and sang a great pop country tune.
