It was written by Alan/Marilyn Bergman and Marvin Hamlisch. The Bergmans are a famous songwriting duo and Marvin Hamlisch is an EGOT + Pulitzer prize winner. Marty Paich arranged it. He is a multifaceted composer and producer who happens to be the father of David Paich, founding member of Toto.
