Nintendo should re-release the Mario Kart Arcade games and F Zero AX for console, I bet lots of gamers, myself included, would pay a pretty penny for the chance to play those games

As an ARCADE TECH i'm very familiar with the Triforce Hardware. I used to work for namco, and ran some stores. First time I saw it was when we got Mario Kart GP. Ours had the camera, but we found out later that there was a card save system version, and corporate being cheap, opted for the taking out the save feature. Dumb. I got to work on some of these Triforce systems. The I/O boards are fragile, and would fail a lot, especially on Mario Kart. There was a lot of arcade games that used home consoles as their base hardware. Playstation 1 was a huge one. A lot of namco arcade games used it, which is why Tekken and a bunch of games looked exactly the same at home using the System 22, but a PS1 version called System 11. Dance Dance Revolution and most of the Konami rhythm games used PS1 hardware, which is why some machines had the ability to use a PS memory card. Same with the PS2 arcade hardware. I have a couple of those in my garage. I think one for Time Crisis 3 and one for Tekken 5.

Given the machine's capabilities, I do find it a little surprising more games were not produced for it. But I guess it's not uncommon for arcade platforms to be used for far less games than their console counterparts

It is peculiar that Sega was so open to teaming up with other companies after the Dreamcast/Naomi. They also teamed up with Microsoft to produce the Chihiro Arcade board which was essentially the arcade version of the original Xbox, ( we got the legendary Outrun 2 from it).
Imagine if they had agreed to partner with Sony at the start of the 32 bit era, Sony and Namco home and arcade properties might have been on Sega hardware that generation.

I remember hearing about this system after the Dreamcast was cancelled, damn I miss when the Dreamcast was the king back in 1999, I always wanted one of these systems, they’re probably worth and arm and a leg nowadays! Awesome Channel Lady Decade 👍🍻

There's a new dolphin triforce emulator out it plays all triforce games flawlessly 60fps 4k if you have a fairly powerful pc. Flawlessly
