The Poles can convert wood into food faster than any other civilization!
Did you forget to make farms while you were microing your units? Don't have enough food to click up to Imperial Age?

Math:
- Farm costs 60 wood
- 8 Farms can fit around a Folwark, costing a total of 480 wood
- After horse collar, farms have 250 food (10% = 25 food)
- 8 farms give 200 food
- After heavy plow, farms have 375 food (10% = 37.5 food)
- 8 farms give 300 food
- After crop rotation, farms have 550 food (10% = 55 food)
- 8 farms give 440 food!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once you deplete your wood, leave the farms alive to keep collecting food.
