The Trumpet Player That Ruined Shrek

Reggie is the true evil. Shrek is the best Dreamworks franchise, and the Shrek 5 trailer has been taking forever, so I look back at our favourite All Star's legacy... In Shrek 2, the ogres are invited to visit Far Far Away by a messenger and his team of trumpeters. One of the trumpeters starts to improvise a jazzy little song, and is promptly shut down by the Herald. To my astonished shock, I have figured something out that shouldn’t exist— A mystery with this funny trumpeter at its centre, that flips these films on their head. A dark secret, with “Reggie the Trumpet Guy” at its core. I am sharing it with you today, in my most overzealous theory in ages. Enjoy!

You have all been involved in a grandiose experiment spanning a couple of months in which I sequentially present the theories in an increasingly absurd manner so as to test public interpretations of the overall mood presented. This is the zenith, and is ever-so-slightly tipped into the more “ridiculous” territory, indicating my limit. Often these tests are more logical than absurdist, and this one is more absurdist than logical, or so it appears. It is focused on the suspect, “Reginald”, as opposed to the legitimate core of the theory which was Merlin and the Fairy Godmother. What was and still is presented about 35% as an intentionally delayed April Fool’s joke, has of course got the underlying observations and general thesis surrounding the population of Far Far Away, and how the Shrek Multiverse has an underbelly metaphor relaying how libertarians in Far Far Away react to absolute monarchies with memes, similarly to the real world.
