Schumer Slams Republicans in Congress for Spreading Conspiracy Theories

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) on Thursday warned his Republican colleagues that they were "poisoning" the country's democracy by continuing to refuse to acknowledge Joe Biden's presidential election victory last week.

"The election is not in doubt," he said. "This is nothing more than a temper tantrum by Republicans, nothing more than a pathetic political performance for an audience of one."

Schumer urged Republicans to accept the results of the elections and start focusing on the Covid-19 pandemic.
