Υπέροχα! Ευχαριστώ πολύ! I like Greek letters and we are used to write most of them since school times. Not because we studied Greek, but math, phisics, chemistry, ecc.

I'd like to speake Greek the way you do. Προσπαθώ ξανά και ξανά να μάθω.
It's really wanderful to listen to the sound of this language and its speed.
There are so many words to be aquainted to. Thank you for the videos.

Thank you! This is the very best writing tutorial I have found so far on youtube. I am on my fourth day of trying to learn some Greek. I have bought a calligraphy exercise book and am about to start practising.

Thanks a lot! Can you do a video on how to write in cursive Greek? I.e., how to write connected letters. I've always wanted to learn such a script.

Some of the Armenian letters (the first seven, Թ, Փ, and probably others) are descended from Greek letters as they were handwritten around the year 400.

Literally the only reason I’m watching this is because I’m scared of getting cancelled by Greece (yes, the country of Greece itself) for writing their letters wrong in my math homework. Thanks so much Dimitris!

Thank you very much. You have lots of useful videos already. This one would be better by pen on paper though. I will watch more videos before I comment again. And I will like all of them. Thanks again. Special thanks to Marilou.

LONG COMMENT WARNING (συγγνώμη!)

I think it would have been even better if you could have shown the different ways some of the letters would be written, like β (with the tail) δ (with a flat horizontal line on top) θ (ϑ) κ (as a "u" and that's why learners should be careful when writing upsilon and not add a tail on the side! Though I liked your ϰ which learners often confuse for χ!) λ (with the left leg below the line) π (as ϖ) τ (like an iota but with a curl backwards at the top and then one forward at the bottom) χ (with one line curved, the other straight) and ψ (like an English cursive "y"). Then there's Ϗ which some people use for και (I think it's a Greek ampersand [&]) and ȣ for ου which I've seen on some signs - especially small street signs. finally, some people seem to join στ together so it looks like οι with a line on top... and a few other letters are often just joined by one line. I think αι is often joined, no? I personally always join από slightly.

Then again, it would have made the video A LOT longer, so I understand!
