Millicent Simmonds' performance in A Quiet Place is too good to be just an honorable mention. Heck, it's even better than some of the other performances actually in the top 10.

I actually met most of the kids from “It” 2017 at a comic con a few years ago, and they were so kind in person

Wait, I thought Esther would've been in the top three because that girl was amazing!. She definitely had me fooled & the twist at the end had me gagged. Especially when the make-up crew actually MADE her into an adult. It was very unsettling. I'm excited to see what the prequel will do for her story. ❤️

I still believe Linda Blair should’ve won the Oscar and Tatum O’Neal should’ve been/nominated in the best actress category

I’d include Noah Wiseman from The Babadook. That kid gave a truly intense performance, and you could TRULY tell how scared he was at each turn. And for those saying “but he was so annoying”, that was kind of the point at times.

The kids are one of the best reasons to watch horror. Maybe not the best actors but so cute.
I’d add the boy from “The Innocents.” You don’t usually scare someone with a kiss, but he did!

2. Kirsten Dunst as Claudia In Interview With The Vampire
3. Harvey Spencer Stevens as Damien Thorn In The Omen.
4. Alex Vincent as Andy Barclays in Child's Play
5. Linda Blair as Regan Macneil in The Exorcist

Alex Vincent from 1988’s ‘Child’s Play.’
We can’t wait to see the character Andy Barclay (in his 40s) again possibly in the ‘Chucky’ TV series.
