Hubble, the space telescope launched almost 33 years ago, is still providing us with stunning images and valuable scientific discoveries of the universe. Even with NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope making headlines, Hubble remains a vital tool in space exploration, with its latest discoveries including a “jellyfish” galaxy, supernova aftermath, and a massive cluster of galaxies whose collective gravity bends light. Hubble's ability to capture these images and study the cosmos is still blowing our minds, and its contributions to astronomy and our understanding of the universe continue to be significant.

Watch planetarium educator Talia Sepersky discuss other fascinating space phenomena.

I'd much rather be learning about some of the 60+ extraterrestrial species catalogued by an unacknowledged sect of our government over the past several decades than what astronomers want to focus on. Describe them instead of galaxies and black holes.
