Firstly no aggro intended, a decent review :) Just thought I'd shed some light on some comments down below (been playing for about a month):
- There is excellent water reflection, not sure why it isn't showing here, maybe a missed setting?
- There is zero Pay2Win (mentioned in the comments), also those "loot boxes" aren't loot boxes, you just get your 'level up' rewards in the form of a box, thats it.
- You can buy Cubits (another in game currency) with real money, but the cubits can only buy cosmetics and extra 'plots' (a plot reserves/protects an 8x8 area of land so other players can't take your stuff). You actually have to play the game to fill your plot and progress etc. Also, as it's such a huge game with loads of worlds, having more plots to reserve loads of space is no advantage really.
- "just like minecraft" think of it as "Minecraft 2.0 +more and completely different" :D

But as I said, it's a good video and this comment is just for some extra info :)

Based on your footage it looks like you've played an hour or two, of an MMO, and giving a 'final verdict' on an MMO. Have you played no MMOs before? They're deep systems with constantly evolving features.

You showed no portals, no grappling. You talked nothing of the entirely player-created cities and economy, or of meteors/ high level worlds and enemies. You talked about going to a more aggressive world, but that is about all you mention of the dozens of other unique worlds.

8/10 is definitely a fair rating, and I appreciate you shedding some light on a smaller title. It just seems like you haven't played much of the game, or learned much about it (/watched let's plays).

Boundless is phenomenal really, no need to spend money at all for fuel you can craft 1 month fuel or 16 weeks fuel easily. Now beacons save your blocks if your beacon goes down all your blocks are saved and you can reclaim them if you put a new beacon.

I hate the look, it's like they couldn't figure out what they wanted to go with so they thought let's make the art style farcry meets minecraft meets art student. it's like 6 people was all incharge of the art direction and couldn't agree on what to do so each one made different parts of it on there own. You have voxel terrain, HD semi realistic sky, shader reflective water, low poly cartoon character and semi photo realistic foliage. It's a complete mess

5:25 4 weeks? So, you go a month on vacation, and get everything looted. 4 weeks is not enough. Should be at least 4-6 months or so.

Love this game, and the recent updates are awesome! You should take a second look. They even addressed the daytime water!

It needs events for PVE, Quests and quest givers for said events, and it needs MAGIC, it also needs PVP

Had the game for 4 days now just made a mixer working on a refinery its a little mindbogling but gets worse from what i saw hahaa but i cant wait!! Im so hyped

Not trying to be rude or anything but, I don't care for this review. Boundless is a much better game then this review implies in my opinion. Someone that makes content on this game & has spent over 3000hrs playing it. Your not my friend right now gaming bolt. Ive been subbed to yall for along time. Seeing this has shown me how horribly mediocre these little 10 minute reviews are that are done by someone that has barley spent a full 50hrs in game. The least amount of time someone should spend on a title before spewing out a half baked review.

It’s infuriating how underrated this game is. It combines nearly every lovable concept of sandbox, survival, open world, and MMO, games and expands upon them to the point where they feel completely new. Yet crappy games like Minecraft that have only a couple days of enjoyable content and little to no replayability always take the spotlight.

There’s no PVP that’s funny stance is it’s not fair to have cross play between PS4 and PC if there’s going to be player versus player interactions mouse and keyboard are an unfair advantage in almost every circumstance to a Consol player I’m pretty sure that’s why Sony doesn’t want to see cross play on most games this one has zero PVP to my knowledge
