BIG PLANTED TANK MAINTENANCE SESSION AT OUR GALLERY

Показать описание
We started with the ambitious plan of water changes and trimming of 9 Green Aqua Gallery Tanks. We managed to do 4 on camera. See what we did to boost these tanks, and give them a fresh look. Learn some small tips and tricks of planted tank maintenance, with different setups, different scenarios.

Many of you have asked so here's the answer: we used Seachem Reef Glue to attach mosses to stones, it is a Cyanoacrylate-based gel type superglue, works well under water too.

I usually prefer a wilder, less "manicured" look, but I can see the importance of maintenance in such elaborate scapes. This video was eye opening.. thank you :D

I really need to say that the maintanance at tank number 2 really impressed me. At first I thought that this will not reach a great optical perspective anymore but after maintanance I was just impressed. It looks really clean and will be able to enjoy a lot of customers for the next few months! There is truely no need to take it apart and rescape it. I really like it as it is now.

Ok, that was a wake up call. Thought my tanks looked good but now I see I have work to do.

That competition tank is absolutely STUNNING!

I find that for alternanthera reineckii it’s actually much easier to prune decaying leaves by pinching using your thumb and forefinger (forefinger nail against pad of thumb). The various scaping scissors are useful for all sorts of applications, but I prefer fingers for that particular plant

I like this video...even a high class place like this has its little issues here and there...but going through the process of cleaning maintenance trimming just goes to show we all slack a little from time to time!

I was visiting the shop last week and saw how the Diorama Jurijs tank (first trim in this video) has developed into an amazing and well balanced scape. Fell immediately in love with it. Congratulations.

Another great video Balazs. Learn something new from each video.

My wife saw that I was watching your video and suggested I Chromecast it to our television so “I’m not straining my eyes”. She thinks I don’t know what she’s really saying is, “Why don’t you Chromecast the video to the television so I can check out Balazs.” 😒

Hey I see you and your team are visiting Japan 🇯🇵 in Oct. Congrats; please upload a video from the trip along with your aquarium site visits and the amazing aquascapes. Continued YouTube success 👍🏼
